Meanwhile, we are currently working on getting our smoke house up and running and look forward to being able to expand our markets and begin shipping some of our smoked favorites. Our own boat the "CAPT TATE" is a multi species boat that has permits to fish for Grouper, Stone crabs, tuna, swordfish and mahi. Click here for some video shot on board.
Stone Crab season for 2009-2010 is over for the Capt Tate but we will be back catching and shipping fresh cooked(never frozen) Stone Crab Claws next fall. The first of our crabs will be hitting the docks on October 15, 2010 and we will announce our first shipping date before then. Order early for your first Stone Crab Feast of the season. A bit later in the Spring we anticipate adding smoked mullet, a Gulf Coast favorite, and smoked fresh salmon to the items we are shipping. Keep an eye on this space for more information, or use the contact link in our main menu to send us a message asking to be notified when we begin shipping Smoked Florida Mullet and Fresh Smoked Salmon Filets and we will email you when we get the Smokehouse operation running fully.
We thank all our loyal customers again this season as well as the new ones we shipped claws to this year. We hope to fill your seafood needs again next season as well as pick up a few more friends and satisfied customers as we go along.
Stone Crab season is over for the 2009 - 2010 season. Our next season is set to open in the fall, October 15th 2010. Watch these pages for news about The Captain Tate and TW Wholesale's plans for the next year. We are expanding our smoked fish product lines that so far we've only marketed locally to very limited numbers of outlets. We hope to ramp up production of our local favorite, smoked mullet, as well as some other choice offerings. We'll post more news as we have it.
